 Enjoy an idyllic lakefront wedding ceremony at Superior Shores Resort.  Hold your ceremony on the pebble beach or at the ceremony site just adjacent to the lodge.   Either location provides a spectacular backdrop of Lake Superior and the surrounding North Shore coastline.  Make your entrance over the bridge spanning the brook in front of the lodge, up the cobblestone trail to the shore.  It’s an experience you and your guests will never forget.

     For a memorable wedding event on Minnesota’s North Shore, there is no finer setting or more versatile facility than those at Superior Shores Resort.  You can rely on our catering specialists to make your wedding dreams come true.  With most couples, the North Shore is a special place near and dear to them.  Planning this event from a distance is our specialty.  The resort can provide lodging accommodations to out of town guests, banquet facilities, ceremony locations and full service catering.  We can also assist you with support services from our list of vendors and associates.

      Support services can be provided by Superior Shores or arranged with local vendors.  Chairs, archway and gazebo are available directly from the resort.  Flowers, banners, decorations, officiates, DJ’s, photographers, salons, bakers, musicians and audio support can be provided from vendors who have worked with the resort over the past years or you may employ any of your preferred vendors.   

      Banquet facilities include the Split Rock, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Rooms.  All rooms can be combined to accommodate groups of 250 plus or rooms can be divided to provide more intimate settings for smaller groups.  All rooms are located lakeside with doors and windows providing access and views of Lake Superior.  The Split Rock and Tettegouche Room also feature a fireplace.  Immediately outside of the banquet rooms is a patio – perfect for cocktails or hors d’ouvres following your ceremony. 

      Food and beverage service is provided by Kamloops Restaurant at Superior Shores.  Meal service can be tailored to your individual needs.  Dinner options include plated dinners or lavish buffets, featuring fresh fish, chicken, slow roasted prime rib and vegetarian options.   For a fun and festive atmosphere, may we recommend, butler passed appetizers with accompanying food stations.  If a more casual feel is desired, how about a barbecue followed by a bonfire on the beach?  Whatever your desire on your special day – please ask.
