General Information and Policies

Rate Information | Midweek rates apply Sunday through Thursday. Weekend rates apply Friday and Saturday as well as holidays. All weekends and holidays require a two night minimum. Superior Shores Resort recognizes the following holidays and special events:

  • Martin Luther King Day – Jan 14-17, 2022
  • President’s Day – Feb 18-21, 2022
  • Memorial Day – May 27-30, 2022
  • Grandma’s Marathon – June 17-19, 2022
  • Fourth of July – July 1-3, 2022
  • Labor Day – Sept 2-4, 2022
  • MEA Weekend – Oct 20-24, 2022
  • Thanksgiving – Nov 24-27, 2022
  • Christmas – Dec 24-25, 2022

Age Requirement | Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve and check into a room.

Occupancy Limits | Units are designed to accommodate guests up to the maximum sleeping capacity of the unit. For the enjoyment of all guests, occupancy limits will be enforced.

Check-in/Check-out | Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out is by 11am. Request for early check-in or late check-out will be honored if possible, but is not guaranteed without charge.

Deposit Policy | The full first nights stay including tax and fees will be taken at the time the reservation is made.

Cancellation Policy | Cancellations made 10 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded less a $35 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the arrival date will result in a forfeiture of the entire deposit.

Non-Smoking Policy | Superior Shores Resort is a non-smoking resort indoors. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Guests are subject to a $300 daily cleaning fee if smoking occurs in your room.

Dog Policy | Superior Shores Resort allows well-mannered dogs in designated units at the Main Lodge, Lakehomes and at Burlington Bay Building 5 on the 1st floor level. Dogs are not allowed in any Burlington units in building 3 or 4. Pets other than dogs are not allowed on property. A maximum of two dogs per room is permitted and dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in rooms. A non-refundable Pup-Grade charge of $35.00 per night, plus tax, applies per dog. This includes a doggy bowl, bandana, treats and a toy. Payment of Pup-Grade is due at check-in. Guests will be responsible for any property damage caused by their dogs. Pet agreement must be signed upon check-in.
